Michael Posner, MD - Comprehensive Ophthalmology

Dr. Michael Posner is a Board certified ophthalmologist and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His areas of expertise include Cataract and Intraocular Lens Surgery and External Diseases of the Eye. Dr. Posner is bi-lingual and has a special dedication to patients with diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of ophthalmologic disorders.

Dr. Posner is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his residency training at the Department of Ophthalmology, Cooper Hospital/UMDNJ where he was chief resident.

Dr. Posner is actively involved in medical education as a preceptor for the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is a frequent lecturer to physician groups and hospital grand rounds. He also enjoys educating the public regarding diseases of the eye and is a regular speaker at health fairs, senior citizen centers and other civic groups.
