Scott J. Fudemberg, M.D. attended the St. Louis University School of Medicine where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then completed the Ophthalmology Residency program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. A Fellowship in Glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital followed, where he later became an instructor of the Glaucoma and Research Center. He then joined the prestigious Spaeth, Katz, Myers private practice group. He is also currently an instructor of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Jefferson Medical College.
Dr. Fudemberg has written many articles and has co-authored various book chapters on the subject of glaucoma. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and belongs to several medical organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Fudemberg’s surgical training has given him the ability to perform many ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract removal and implant surgery, glaucoma, and glaucoma and vascular disease. Hisnumerous surgical procedures and techniques used in the treatment of glaucoma illustrate his superior skills in ophthalmic surgery.
